Cheat Days
It's the weekend, and for most people that means a cheat day is coming on. A cheat day is a day that after all week long of eating healthy and making smart choice, one gets to indulge in a treat and nice meal. Often times these cheat days can be beneficial in the end. Sometimes in the end, restricting your calories and exercising can lead to a plateau in weight loss, and believe it or not eating more calories than usual can cause a spike and kick that metabolism back into gear. The key is to make sure it is only ONE day and week, and keep to one meal that day. When Monday rolls around and you already know you will be going out with family or friends on the weekend, make that your cheat day. Order a cheeseburger with water and a few fries, or get a salad and a big delicious dessert. Enjoy your cheat day but make sure you deserve a cheat day by making healthy choices throughout the week.
